Tribute for the hospitality!Because, due to wind, the ski lifts from Gerlos stopped, made a walk through the snow to Lackeralm. And a glass of wine.However, had forgotten to bring cash (was still drying by the heating). When I realized that and confessed that, it was no problem at all. In that case, the glass of wine was free 👍

For 10 years now in January (January) the Lackenalm has been one of our cross-country skiing destinations. We are always looking forward to the friendly service and the unique panorama on the bench in front of the snack station. Especially in bright sunshine. And the Kaiserschmarn .... Simply great. Thank you.

The mountain pasture is idyllic and on an easily accessible hiking route. We hiked as a family of three and two calm old dog ladies. Unfortunately, the latter two are undesirable in the dining room of this pasture. We were complimented on our polite inquiries (as we do everywhere). A little later, however, I was able to observe how guests sitting outside just marched in with their two barking dogs. And NOT sent out. My tip for hikers with dogs: do not start the alp or refrain from decency and just go inside. We chose the former.

Delicious Kaiserschmarrn

We visited this hut on 18.8.2019. Perfect service, very friendly staff a tasty lunch. And amazing view from terrace.

We were in the Lackenalm in winter and were surprised by the price-performance ratio!Location: Located in a side valley about 1 hour on foot from the Isskogelbahn in Gerlos, you have a great, unobstructed view of the wider valley and the large pastures from the terrace. The walk is only very gently rising and can be done. on the way there are a few benches for a short rest.Service: Nice service! Since the preparation is very fresh, delivery to the seat takes some time.Food: We only had one Kaiserschmarn. But it was very worth it! Definitely one of the better ones in the valley! No comparison to the industrial products on many ski huts.Overall, the prices on the pasture are very acceptable and the selection of food and drinks is good. The walk is worthwhile for a great snack on the alp!

Cozy hut in the valley. Typical Austrian hospitality - friendly and funny. Good food and in summer with outdoor seating. There are also toys for children. Great mountain panorama.
